A product family scaling faster than they could hire for

Orbit was building a full family of products, a home and TV experience, a mobile app, an in-car experience and a connectivity app, but did not have the senior design capacity to move them all forward together. They needed a partner who could design across every surface, keep them visually consistent, and feed a busy in-house dev team without slowing it down.

Anyday embedded as Orbit's product design team on a subscription. We designed across four products in parallel, Orbit Home, Orbit X, Orbit Now and Connect, covering TV, mobile, CarPlay and Wi-Fi and connectivity screens. We built a shared design system, with component specs, naming conventions, variants and states, so the products stayed consistent and developers could build faster. And we ran a batch Kanban workflow so finished design tickets flowed straight into development, with no waiting on sprint planning.
